Conifers
Conifers form a group in the plant kingdom of more than 600 species. The woody conifers grow mainly in areas with a temperate climate.
Are used as a hedge plant or as a solitary plant in the garden and are usually evergreen.
The best known species are the Chamaecyparis, Thuja (the tree of life), Juniperus (juniper), and the Picea (fir).
